Bicarbonate of Soda is part of the 'Clean and Natural' range. Bicarbonate of Soda is often referred to as Baking Soda (although it hasn't got the raising agents required for baking).
Bicarbonate of Soda has a number of useful properties:
- Neutralising acid
- A mild abrasive / scouring agent for shiny materials without scratching aluminium, chrome, jewellery, plastic, porcelain, silver, stainless steel and tin. For a more abrasive scouring action, for example, in toilet bowls, use Borax.
- Extinguishing grease fires. Tip – never throw water on a chip pan fire!
- Deodoriser for the refrigerator, carpets, upholstery, vinyl, bins, drains.
- Softening fabrics and removing some stains (use Soda Crystals for more stubborn stains)
- Softening hard water

UK delivery charges

Our aim is to get the order delivered to your door in the quickest time we can achieve with no fuss. All orders placed before noon on a business day will normally be sent the exact same day while any placed after noon or on a non business day will be dispatched first thing the next business day.
- Delivery charges for orders weighing up to 800g is just £2.46.
- Delivery charges for orders weighing more than 800g but less than 2.5kg are £3.95.
- Orders for items weighing more than 2.5kg but costing less than £49 will be sent by courier. Charges start at £5.
- All orders over £49 will be delivered free of charge within the UK mainland.
Courier is normally next business day delivery. Please allow 2-3 days for Royal Mail
